Course Curriculum:

The Science:

  • Top 8+ post-surgical complications, why they happen, how to identify and what you can do to improve chording, capsular contracture, necrosis, "Iron Bra" Syndrome and more
  • Stages and types of breast cancer, so you are informed and educated when your patient says "I'm triple negative" or "I'm HER2+ stage 2"
  • Reducing side effects from chemotherapy and radiation such as chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy, pain, energy loss, mood impairments and more
  • Lymphedema stages, risk factors, hydrotherapy, home-care and manual techniques research has shown to decrease lymphatic volume
  • Massage therapy techniques research has shown to be useful for mobility, pain reduction, digestion improvements and quality of life in post-surgical cancer patients
  • Surgical images so you know exactly what's happening underneath the skin
