All participants are responsible for reviewing these terms prior to purchase. MG reserves the right to update or amend policies as required to comply with federal and provincial regulations or international operational standards.

1. CERTIFICATION

At the end of the course, participants who have successfully completed all required components will receive an authentic Mastectomy Guide Certificate by mail.

To be eligible for certification, participants must:

  • Attend all six days of the Comprehensive Intensive live.
  • Complete the course in one continuous sitting within the scheduled cohort.
  • Participate fully in live sessions, practical demonstrations, and group discussions.
  • Fulfill all course requirements, including any practice work, reflections, or evaluations.

Live Attendance Requirement
Attendance at all six live sessions is mandatory for certification. Live participation ensures professional supervision, accurate assessment, and safety within the clinical training environment.

Participants who miss any portion of the live course, for any reason, will not qualify for certification and will need to register for a future cohort to complete their training. Certification is not available for partial completion or replay-only participation.

2. PAYMENT & COURSE FEES

All course fees must be paid in full before the course start date. Participants who have not completed payment will not be admitted to the course and will forfeit any deposits made.

Payments may be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) or United States Dollars (USD) depending on participant location and the regional checkout assigned at the time of purchase.

Tuition pricing may vary slightly by region to account for taxes, exchange rates, and international transaction processing. Taxes such as 5% GST are applied where applicable under Canadian law.

International participants are responsible for any currency conversion, bank, or transaction fees that may apply.

All sales are final except where noted under the Cancellation Policy. Payment signifies acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms.

3. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND CREDITS

  • Between 5–6 weeks: 75% refund.
  • Between 4–5 weeks: 50% refund.
  • Within 4 weeks of course start: No refund available.

All refunds, if applicable, are processed in the same currency used for purchase within 30 business days.

No exceptions will be made outside of verifiable, major unforeseen emergencies that prevent attendance. All exceptions must be applied for in writing and approved by MG management.

Refund exclusions include:

  • Illnesses such as Covid-19 or other communicable diseases
  • Schedule changes, travel delays, or internet issues
  • Failure to attend due to personal or professional conflicts

If illness or emergency prevents attendance, participants may apply for a credit toward a future course, subject to approval and space availability.
Approved credits are valid for one calendar year and are subject to a 50% re-registration fee. Unused credits expire without refund after 12 months.

4. COURSE DELIVERY & FORCE MAJEURE

In-person courses may be shifted to virtual delivery in the event of force majeure events such as:

  • Covid-19 or other public health restrictions
  • Natural disasters, wildfires, or weather events
  • Power or travel disruptions
  • Government orders or border closures

If conversion to a virtual format occurs, MG will deliver the complete course material online and issue partial credits if applicable, less venue, travel, and staffing expenses already incurred.

Participants acknowledge that registering for an in-person course involves an inherent degree of uncertainty, and MG will fulfill the course delivery through virtual or alternative methods if circumstances require.

5. TRANSFERS & COURSE CHANGES

Transfers between courses are permitted under the following conditions:

  • Request is submitted at least 14 days before the scheduled start date.
  • The new course is of equal duration and content.
  • Space is available in the new course.
  • A $50 administrative fee applies to all transfers.

If the new course has a higher tuition rate, the difference must be paid prior to transfer approval.

6. NO SHOWS & PERSONAL ILLNESS

Participants who do not attend (no-show) forfeit their full course fee with no refund or credit.

Participants who miss the course due to personal illness or verified family emergency may retake the same course once, subject to space availability, at 50% of the original course fee.
This make-up opportunity is valid for the next available scheduled offering of the Comprehensive Intensive, which may occur in the following calendar year.

If a participant completes only part of the course (for example, one day of a two-day workshop), they may attend the missed day once, subject to space, for 25% of the course fee.

If space in a future course is unavailable, the participant forfeits their original course fee.

7. CONDUCT, PROFESSIONALISM, AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the course. MG reserves the right to terminate participation at any time, without refund, if a participant:

  • Disrupts the learning environment
