This two-day, 16-hour training is the final module of the October Comprehensive Intensive and is also available as a stand-alone course. Use this dashboard to review your registration option, travel responsibilities, course schedule, forms, handbook information, and what to bring.

Move through these steps in order so you know exactly what applies to your registration before travelling.

STEP 1: Confirm Your Registration Option

Check your confirmation email so you know which travel, meal, party, and accommodation details apply to you.

  • Course-Only: Includes the two-day course, 16 training hours, digital handbook, and Certificate of Completion with full attendance. Accommodation, transportation, meals, and the wrap-up party are not included. If you would like to join the meals and October 31 wrap-up party, you can add the Food & Wrap-Up Party upgrade to your Course-Only registration.
  • Course + Food + Wrap-Up Party: Includes the course plus the food and October 31 wrap-up party included with your purchase. Accommodation and transportation are not included.
  • Legacy MG Accommodation Registration: Follow the accommodation, pickup, and departure instructions provided in your personal confirmation.

STEP 2: Review Travel, Venue & Arrival

The course takes place in Naramata, British Columbia, on October 30–31, 2026.

Stand-alone attendees: Arrange your own accommodation and transportation to and from the venue.

Attendees with confirmed MG accommodation and transportation: Arrival is October 29. Plan to be ready for the SST pickup by 3:00 PM. Your group departure is November 1 at 9:00 AM, with expected arrival at Penticton Airport between 9:30 and 9:45 AM.

Transportation Responsibilities

Transportation is not included for stand-alone SST registrations. Please plan your route, parking, and daily travel before the course.

The October 29 pickup and November 1 airport shuttle apply only when they are included in your MG accommodation confirmation.

STEP 4: Review the Two-Day Schedule

Protect October 30 and 31 for the full in-person training. The exact daily start and finish times will be posted here once finalized.

The October 31 closing celebration is included only for attendees whose registration includes the wrap-up party.

Your Science of Scar Tissue Training
  • October 30: Fascia and connective tissue, nervous-system influences, lymphatic and immune systems, vascular influences, wound healing, treatment dosage, and working with earlier versus mature stages of healing.
  • October 31: Scar-tissue development, collagen behaviour, the fluid environment, sensory changes, sensory nerve retraining, and practical application for breast, chest, and abdominal surgical presentations.
  • October 31 evening: Closing celebration and facilitated ecstatic dance for participants whose registration includes the wrap-up party.

STEP 5: Prepare Your Handbook & Supplies

Your registration includes the digital Science of Scar Tissue handbook. Bring a laptop or tablet and charger if you plan to use the fillable version during class.

If you ordered the printed handbook, bring pens, highlighters or page markers, and an optional notebook or journal.

Bring comfortable professional clothing for hands-on learning, layers, indoor footwear, a water bottle, and any personal items you need for a full training day.

4. COURSE SCHEDULE

October 30–31, 2026

This is a two-day, 16-hour in-person training combining evidence-informed theory, clinical reasoning, demonstrations, and supervised hands-on practice.

  • October 30: Healing systems, stages of wound healing, tissue response, treatment dosage, and practical application.
  • October 31: Scar development, collagen, sensory changes, sensory nerve retraining, and clinical application for breast, chest, and abdominal scars.

The final daily timetable will be posted here once confirmed.

5. ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & CELEBRATION

Stand-Alone Attendees

Accommodation is not included. Please arrange your own lodging and transportation between your accommodation and the venue.

Course-Only Registration

Meals and the October 31 wrap-up party are not included. Please plan your own meals and refreshments.

Course + Food + Wrap-Up Party

Your purchase includes the event food and October 31 celebration listed in your confirmation. Breakfast, accommodation, and transportation are not included.

Attendees with Confirmed MG Accommodation

Follow the room, meal, pickup, and departure details provided directly by the MG Team. Do not use the stand-alone travel instructions as a replacement for your personal confirmation.

6. HANDBOOK & LEARNING RESOURCES

Your registration includes the digital Science of Scar Tissue handbook.

Bring a laptop or tablet, charging cable, and any adapters you need if you plan to use the fillable digital handbook during class.

If you would like to order the printed second-edition handbook, complete your order by October 5, 2026.

Printed-handbook delivery will follow the details provided with your order.

7. HANDS-ON LEARNING & CONSENT

Consent is central to all hands-on learning during this course.

  • Comfort and boundaries will be checked throughout the training.
  • Practice will follow the guidance of Eryn Price, RMT, and Cathy Ryan, RMT.
  • You may pause, modify, decline, or observe an activity at any time.
  • All participants must follow the professional draping, communication, and consent protocols taught during class.

  • Layers for changing indoor and outdoor temperatures

  • A celebration outfit if your registration includes the October 31 wrap-up party

Any final clinical-linen or treatment-supply requirements will be shared by the MG Team before the course.
