2. Scope

This policy applies to all applicants, learners, tutors, assistants, observers, assessors, and staff engaged in Mastectomy Guide courses, both online and in person.

3. Legal basis

We comply with the Equality Act 2010. We do not discriminate on the grounds of the protected characteristics: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.

4. Our commitments

  • Provide inclusive marketing, admissions, and enrolment.

  • Design and deliver teaching that is accessible, trauma-informed, and respectful.

  • Provide reasonable adjustments for disability and health needs where practicable and safe.

  • Apply fair and transparent assessment methods aligned to learning outcomes.

  • Prevent and address discrimination, harassment, and victimisation.

5. Access and reasonable adjustments

Learners can request adjustments at any stage by contacting info@mastectomyguide.com. We will agree to adjustments that are reasonable and compatible with course safety, learning outcomes, and professional standards. Examples include flexible formats, additional time for written tasks, alternative submission methods, and assistive resources.

6. Admissions and progression

Entry criteria are applied consistently. Decisions are based on stated prerequisites, safety, and professional suitability. Appeals about admissions or progression are handled under our Complaints Policy.

7. Learning environment and conduct

All participants must uphold a respectful learning environment. Discriminatory language or conduct, harassment, or victimisation will be addressed promptly and may lead to removal from a course.

Concerns about equality, access, or conduct can be raised to info@mastectomyguide.com. We handle concerns sensitively and in line with our Complaints Policy, with clear timelines and outcomes.
