THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU'VE BEEN TAUGHT BEFORE
Most massage therapists are trained in lymphatic or oncology massage.
But almost no one is trained in what actually happens during surgery.
That’s the gap.
This training teaches you what’s happening under the skin -
so you can treat safely, effectively, and confidently.
WHO THIS RETREAT IS FOR
This retreat is designed for registered or licensed massage therapists who want to safely support people recovering from breast and chest surgeries.
This Training Is For You If…
- You’re already getting post-surgical clients and don’t feel confident
- You feel called to support breast, chest, or oncology patients
- You want to expand your skills safely and responsibly
- You’re interested in light-touch techniques that don’t exhaust your body
- You value ethical, trauma-aware care
- You prefer hands-on, in-person learning in small groups
You do not need prior oncology or post-surgical experience. We will guide you step-by-step.
Save Your SpotWHAT YOU’LL WALK AWAY WITH
By the end of this retreat you will:
- Confidence working with post-surgical clients
- Clear understanding of breast and chest surgeries
- Hands-on experience with real bodies
- Practical techniques you can apply immediately
- The ability to assess and adapt treatments safely
- A trauma-aware, ethical approach to care
- A supportive community of like-minded therapists
Join an international community of like-minded and heart-centred massage therapists
A DIFFERENT KIND OF MASSAGE WORK
Many massage therapists feel a quiet pull toward more meaningful work.
Supporting someone through:
- Cancer treatment
- Major surgery
- Gender affirmation
- Deeply personal body changes
These moments require care that is thoughtful, respectful, and clinically informed.
Yet most massage therapy programs never teach how to safely work with surgical tissues, scar patterns, or oncology considerations.
Therapists are left wanting to help… but unsure how.
This retreat was created to change that.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Every year, millions of people undergo breast and chest surgeries.
- Mastectomies
- Lumpectomies
- Reconstruction
- Gender-affirming surgeries
- Implant removals
These procedures affect mobility, sensation, and overall function.Â
Yet once medical treatment ends, many patients are left asking:
“What now?”
Â
Massage therapists are uniquely positioned to help.
But most training programs don’t teach how to work safely with surgical tissues.
This training was created to help close that gap.
LEARNING WITH REAL PATIENTS
Throughout the retreat, you will work with real post-surgical patients under supervision.
This allows you to:
- Observe real tissue changes
- Hear patient experiences
- Practice with guidance and feedback
- Build real clinical confidence
In previous courses, therapists consistently share that this experience is when the material truly comes to life.
